A little bit loud, a little bit rude.

When me and one of my friends are in public, she always makes comments on the people around us in a voice that is so loud that the person that she is talking about can hear. It's not like she always says bad things, but it must be awkward for the person on the receiving end of one of her comments, and it's awkward for me because the person always turns to stare (or glare) at us. The weird thing is that my friend always thinks that she's whispering, but she's actually making a clearly audible comment. Do other people do that too?

Yes. One of my good friends would always do that, but I've learned to straight up tell her to shut the eff up. I learned to man up and tell her she's being rude. Try it.

Real shit bruh, I fuckin hate when people do that shit when I'm with them, talking shit about other people for no reason makes me reluctant to associate them again. It also makes me wonder what the fuck they're saying about me when I'm not around lol yuh know

    • Right on. She is just being rude. Tell her. And if she doesn't listen, let her know she can make her running commentary walking by herself. Then leave.

She could have a hearing problem.

Ughh My friend does that.. I always have to shusshh her .. The worst thing ever is that she does it in the university.. and sometimes about people that she doesn't know that I know them.. It's so embarrassing..

I have a friend who did that too. Since it's usually hard for people like that to control their voice level when speaking, it's better to not instigate those kinds of conversation when in public.

hehe. One of my closest friends has this problem also :P only she doesnt care if the other person hears, thats the worst part.
See, i am pretty honest about things even if its a bit rude... but there is a line and my friend always crosses it :P and im left there as the only one not snickering (unless its truly funny).
If you ask me what i think about something, and i hate it. well i dont care what u think, ill tell u i hate it. But i dont blurt out terrible comments 24/7 such as "look how fat she is" and "shes so fucking ugly."
I wonder why my friend does this... she knows it pisses me off. :P
Maybe you should tell your friend shes being too loud. i usually tell mine to shut the f**k up. :P
    bye lol

She might have a hearing problem, and not realize she's talking so loud. My 91 year old great grandma does that alot.
