A law that makes it legal for parents to maim...iin?

I think that there should be a law that makes it legal for parents to beat the shit out of the people who have abused their children, even if they beat them to death.

We live in a society, whose deeply flawed system, gives more rights and protections to child abusers, namely pedophiles, than the parents.

For instance, let's say that you find out that someone has been harming your child and you want to get revenge and beat them to a pulp. Well, with the way the law works, you'd be charged for harming them, without taking into consideration your right to protect your child!

This isn't fair. The law needs to Be changed. What are your thoughts on this?

    I really do not need a law to enable me to do the right thing. If a person is human waste, then I would have no problem taking out the garbage, none at all.
    I believe I am smart enough at this age, that though the law may suspect what I did, they wouldn't find much evidence.
    So let me repeat; who needs another law?

    There's no need to resort to such mindless violence. If they must be punished at all, just shoot them. It'd be quick and it would get rid of the trash.

    You'd have to define the word abuse.

    There are areas where even spanking your child is considered 'abuse'.

    The problem is that individuals may do extremely different things in their punishing ;)

    For you beating someone to death (in certain circumstances) may seem reasonable. But for the person's family (possibly even children!) it may not be looked upon as reasonable.

    Laws (and punishments) have been made by the public and intellectuals voting in and debating the best course of action in present society.
    If you don't fully believe (or want to abide by) certain laws then you should address these issues to you local political representative and 'debate' it.

    Heads up: To base your ideas of laws on just your feelings (about certain things that disgust you) is not actually a good debate. But could start it rolling.
