A friend of mine got bit by a sheep now her hand looks infected

So we were messing around with the sheep at this guy's farm and this ram bit my friend's hand.
When we got back to my place it was purple and swollen, it was really bloody with white stuff kinda coming out of it, I asked her if I needed to bring her to the hospital but she said no.

She left and now I'm wondering if I should worry about her. She said it was just a "Minor bite" but it doesn't look like that.

This is to all the people out there who know about sheep. Help?

    If it really is infected, your friend needs to seek medical treatment. This is coming from someone who avoids the hospital whenever an injury occurs.

    You should call her and check-in on her to see if she's doing alright. It sounds like she really needs to get to the hospital. It needs medical attention right away.

      Thanks, I called her this morning to see how she's doing and she said fine, she then said her hand was numb. Going to pick her up for the hospital now.

    This isn't supposed to be a question about sheep - a bite that leaves white substances leaking out from a bloody wound already spelled out all things alarming. People should re-consider when they downplay their own injuries that clearly indicate unusual symptoms.

    If she doesn't go or waits to go, the infection will probably spread. Depending on how bad it is she may have to get it amputated.
