A father who is a no all

I have a father who I love dearly and like most fathers well I do not know about everyone else out there who will do any thing for his kids and family but if you have a run in with him or a disagreement with him he never admits that he is wrong or if he does he says sorry then says that he was wrong in a round about way with out really saying he is wrong.God it gives me the shits. He always has to be right never admits he is wrong or if he does you have to read in between the lines god it shits me.It is to the point now I try not to push the point with even though I may be right because there is no point. So I ask you is it normal to love your dad to bits but at the same time think of your dad as an no all?

  • Sure. I love my father dearly, but I think the best thing that could ever happen to him, is losing his voice for a few weeks (so that he could listen, instead of just talking).

Your dad wouldn't admit his wrong because he doesn't want to look stupid and besides that adult in their mind are always RIGHT.in this situation just keep quiet don't justified yourself.

Yes this is normal. A lot of dads are like this. It does not always mean it is right.
