it is not in the same context. of course you need people who are compatible to help with certain medical problems for people, but making a conscious thought against someone because they are this ethnic group or that color is actually racist. of course, not that the author should have said it, but people have preferences of who they are attracted to and it does not mean that they are really racist in my opinion.
