Do you ever just feel this "inner calling" to leave the western world and all of it's madness behind to just become a wandering hermit in some foreign non urbanized land?
On a daily basis. I hate politics and greed. I'm too comfortable and lazy to act on it so I'll just stay in my garden.

Eg. the film 'into the wild' and others.
no hot water, no electricity, no running water, no grocery store i mean if you think you can handle doing your laundry in the river please, come to my third world country and ill show you plenty of villages far enough from the city not to have any kind of medical attention and you can die from chicken pox ^^

Still, if you want a simpler life, don't feel you can't nor that you have to abandon everything.
hhhm.. i suppose.. don't really need those things.. especially clothes, obviously you would go naked. i wish i was born in the stone-age tho :D
