Personally I think he likes the fact that you like him still and he's instigating it. Next time he calls don't pick up, or say oops sorry can't talk right now and hang up. It leaves him wondering like "does she like me anymore?" then he'll not be able to STOP thinking about what you guys had. (: just my advice. But just act like you don't like him anymore.
