My mate sometimes hammers me with "you there's?!" even when I am there. Is it normal?!

Some people lack the social skills to recognise when one of their jokes turns into just fucking annoying. It's a form of attention seeking behaviour, and usually the best response is to ignore it. If they get no pay-off, they'll usually stop (although that might take a while if they're an idiot).
