I think that for younger people (from puberty to late 20's / early 30's) it's pretty normal. While not everyone immediately has such a strong physical response, there's nothing strange about it. Your body has a bunch of hormones going through it telling you to get ready for sex, so if you receive input (a hot girl/guy) your naughty bits don't really care if you've never met them, or you won't actually be sleeping with them. They're just doing their job.
S'why I keep a healthy supply of pantie-liners about. For me it's not looking at them, though. It's the random fantasies that pop into my head at times that MAKE NO SENSE. Like advanced statistics class -___-

Sort of - There are different extents to being turned on though - I was wondering if it was normal to get such a big response without knowing them. I'd heard a big response like that only usually happens after you've known someone for a while romantically.
