The obsession some people have with daily showers is pretty damn stupid, and largely the result of advertisers selling over-priced smelly stuff.
It isn't good to be constantly striping our skin of the natural oils so, having paid for the soap to remove the oils, people then slather on some commercial product to prevent dry skin. Does that really make any sense?
When it's hot, or if I'm doing work that makes me sweaty and sticky, I have a shower. The rest of the time, I clean my face, my armpits, groin and butt daily. I don't stink, and this regime reduces our energy and water bills.
It's always best to pay attention to what your body actually needs, rather than just complying with the cultural norm or, even worse, doing what advertisers want you do to.
