(senior/18) drop out of calc to take guitar?

Please read this!
Look, I'm pretty good at math, but it's ridiculously boring with how many pointless problems my teacher gives us - ridiculously easy, with no word problems but simple equations. Sorry, I'm not bragging, they just seem so boring. I get headaches from how boring the class is.

I really want to drop out of my math class to take guitar. I don't see any passion in math at this time and I feel like I'm going to fail it. I just don't feel like wasting the time in life when I want to seek out passions just the same. It's this weird feeling I have, that if I keep on taking math, I won't truly see my passions and will be stuck in this blank state, seeing nothing but blackness. I want to pursue music and just finally learn something new and exciting. It's always been a passion of mine that I've never taken! I'm just scared not to take any math this year. But I'm taking Physics, so there's math in there. But I want to pursue my passions, and self-study math on my own when I want to! I want to pursue my passions so much, I've been thinking about it these past few days a lot. I've never dropped out of any classes to take another class, which is why I'm terrified of doing this, BUT I really WANT to do this! I have until Friday to do this... And I really want to.

It won't affect graduation. I really want to do something different while I'm still here. I'm tired and exhausted.

Why the fuck do you feel you have to take a guitar class at your school to pursue guitar. Likely less than 1% of guitar players do this. You can learn everything by yourself and now with the internet you can get a better education than at school or you could get a job to pay for pvt lessons if u really want. Guitar is just so much easier to do non academically than math I'm really struggling to see where you're coming from. Whether you take calc or not is up to you but these are two completely independent situations.
