Yeah I've had the most luck with pasties (i couldn't think of the name of them so i put bandaids in post whoops 😆) but since the glue is for such a sensitive area, it's rather weak.
I've tried other glues and had issues but most of the time they kinda just "spring up" and the adhesive is long gone within 20-30mins, less on a hot day.
I've tried 'padded bras' or like those types of sports bras you mentioned, and even maternity bras that have that lil slit that has a removable thin pad but it makes things really warm and i get either hives or just a lot of discomfort/overheated.
I guess I'll Google some "pasties" and see if there's any ' Gorilla' strength glue that can be used safely on skin 😆
There is at least one site that specializes in them; and Yandy.com has a lot of them as well.
I suggest that you email them with your glue issue and ask for advice. I'm sure they are aware of the problem - and have a solution.
If the makeup artist in the 1060's could glue either horse or camel hair on my face to create a beard that stayed there for most of a week (including showers) - I'm sure there's a glue for your issue.
2-Parter, both about Nipples :/

Wow, 1060s, you ARE an old dude, that sucks you had to wait like 400 years for the invention of whiskey 😝
But yeah I used to do theatre in college and we used all sorts of glue and 'spirit gum' afterwards so i think I'll shoot them a msg.
Thanks for the Yandy suggestion too 👍 😀
