Yes. As for as I know, we have radio waves to communicate with. However, I'm sure that there are plenty of planets that have intelligent life that have invented other forms of communication. A few years ago, there was a worldwide project where people put together a message and this message was transmitted past our solar system. Apparently, they hope that it will reach intelligent life that will reply to us.
