Well, you obviously want her to be in touch more than its natural for her to be.
I struggled in a relationship like that and my ex improved for about a month or two when i told him straight up that he needed to change and put some effort in the relationship.
I dumped him and it was one of the best decisions ever. You can't force her to need to talk to you as much as you seem to need her.
