  • I don't think this is as common as uncommon. But needless to say that if it is needed Thankfully it's available.

    This is what I found off of Google:
    Ventriculoperitoneal shunting is surgery to relieve increased pressure inside the skull due to excess cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) on the brain
