Very interesting! 5 is my favorite/lucky number so I like this definition of it.

I remember how when I was a kid, I used to associate numbers from 1 to 9 with colors. 1 was white, 2 was gray, 3 red, 4 brown, 5 yellow, 6 dark green, 7 light green, 8 purple and 9 olive green. I don't know why I did that, or why I had such a fixation with the color green. Just one of those weird childhood things I suppose.

It is called,"Synesthesia". Numbers had personality to for me when I was a child, but my family forced me to forget. So, I must have somehow suppressed that ability. I still have it bit in other ways. I am presuming that years of "forgetting" must have made me less sensitive to be able to notice it. I highly regret not writing down the stories behind the numbers, because I could have written about them! I've been trying to completely remember, but I only remember bits and peaches.

I do this, too, I have since I was a kid! But my numbers' personalities are different.

1- the nerdy punctual left brain office guy that doesnt get out much.
2- typical teenage skater i don't give a damn boy
3- optimistic happy somewhat chubby girl
4- mother figure
5- father figure, usually wearing some sort of tie, 4 and 5 are in a relationship..
6- tacky boisterous older woman. chubby. tacky earrings and dress
7- lanky blah guy, kind of like shaggy from scooby doo.
8- he's orange. and very orderly
9- sexy suave woman that gets all the men. definitely wearing stilettos

multiple digit numbers don't have their own personalities, it's more like a get together of numbers.. i can see the relationship between all of them.

this started when i was little.. i blame sesame street. now i see every number and letter in gender and color. meh

O I forgot, synesthesia also associates words/letters/numbers with personalities, not just colors.

I have heard of this before. It might be something called synesthesia, but look it up on google. It is when u r born, it's like two wires in your brain sort of cross and numbers, letters, or other things could have color for you. The only thing you can really do is live with it, but I would look it up on google. It is NOT a disease though, it isn't something u could die from. just remember that, if it is synesthesia, it is not a disease. But the book I saw it in is called A Mango Shaped Space. U could also find that at a local bookstore and find out more from there. Hope this helps!
