  • I think one of the major factors is that I mentioned to him earlier on is that I didn't feel comfortable with having intercourse, and would have to warm up to the idea to even do foreplay stuff.

He told that it was okay that I felt that way,
but I am sensing that deep down inside he wanted a girlfriend who would be sexual with him.

    • Ah, there we go. Forget him.

When I was about 20-ish, I dated a guy for about 2 months. I told him I didn't want to have sex until we dated for a while because I wasn't comfortable with getting intimate with someone I barely knew. He pretended to be okay with it. Then, he ended up breaking up with me in a manipulative way. He said I was not affectionate enough. I simply told him that I respected his decision. And I really was understanding, I just wasn't willing to compromise my beliefs. Two weeks later he freaked out and tried to get back together with me. No way Jose.

You stick to your guns. Nice, honest guys DO exist.
