(guys) - red lipstick + gloss ?

You shouldn't wear gloss over your red lipstick. God, are you trying to look like a cheap whore?
Red lipstick alone is elegant and beautiful, adding gloss makes it childish and takes away.
BTW, I'm not a guy I'm just a freaking stylist.

I'm unable to answer because there's just way too many factors to consider as to what color lips look best. Particularly color of skin, the outfit being worn, and time of the year. (And in that order.)

If the girl A: has nice lips, B: keeps the rest of her makeup minimal and C: Wears it only for special occasions/night time then it looks good :)

Depends on her style. If she has the whole hipster look going then I dig it. If not it seems either too much or trashy. But for some reason all it takes to make lipstick look good is a tight frame, vintage t-shirt, an asymmetrical haircut, some indie influence and some skinny jeans. Other then a few of my friends I haven't seen many girls pull it off.

I have dark black hair, pretty lips, light skin and the only makeup i wear is eye liner lip liner red lipstick and a little gloss just to make it pop! It started for holloween, I was a gangter chola lol curled my hair, took off my glasses (didn't like it because I'm blind as hell lmao) and put the makeup on. It was love eat first apply lmao All that night i kept getting compliments, The gloss made it more pink then red and not trashy at all!! :C It only takes me like 3 minutes to do my makeup, I LOVE it! so whatever to your 'ugly' comments >:P
