Definitely the way he carries himself. It can tell you a lot about a guy, whether he's confident, cocky, shy, nervous, anything. Guys can say what they want but body language is key.
After that I'd say humour though. My guy is totally not my usual type, and I wouldn't say he's instantly recognizable as attractive, but he carries himself confidently and he's got a great sense of humour :) I couldn't imagine being with anyone else!
