"funny" bone in knees

Everyone has a "funny" bone in their elbows. Well I have a funny bone in my knees, only it's like 1000 times more sensitive and not funny at all! It hurts like hell. Seriously, if I hit that spot, it drops me, and I start bawling like a little girl. It hurts like HELL!!! I mean seriously! It became worse when I got hit by a car and landed hard on the pavement... but that was 3 years ago! Anyway is it normal to have a "funny" (painful) bone in your knee? (It's on the inner side)

Oh really? You know, at one point I almost felt as if I was going to faint! Those pains were shooting so badly! Looks like I have a bruise forming now...

Is it like a lump on your knee? If so it could be osgood schlotters disease. It's no big deal I have it too. It's just caused by your body growing and the tendons in your knee pulling on the bone and creating swelling. It goes away once you're done growing. But I would definately go see a doctor to make sure.

Thanks for the advice! I don't think there's a lump, but I am quite boney, so maybe it's just easier for me to hit my bones. If I can ever get to see my doctor, I will ask her about it. The sad thing is, with my busy life and work schedule, the earliest I can possibly see my doc is the end of July! I've been quite sick, but I can't take time off work. Oh well, I'm still alive! lol And 2 months really isn't that long to wait...
