I was recently told by a young man that he cannot concentrate on getting to know me because he is constantly thinking about having sex with me. We hadn't had sex... What did he mean by this?
It means he wants to have sex with you, but isn't interested in getting to know you.
It means he's a lying douchebag with very selfish intentions none of which are to get to know you better as a person. He's just interested in sex.
Don't fall for that one. He's trying to use you and not even doing a good job of it. That's the sorriest most transparent attempt to manipulate your way into a girls pants I've ever heard.

When we first met I introduced myself under a fake name. I later told him, and he insisted on knowing my real name (first name). When I asked him if it really mattered what my real name was.... He said "of course! I am trying to get you know you but I don't even know your real name"
Threw me off a bit as I assumed he just wanted sex, in which case my name wouldn't matter....
It means he's an asshole. That is a real dick thing to say. Trust me...if you have sex with the guy....he's not going to be interested in getting to know you.

It's not even a good excuse. You should stop talking to him for 1) trying to take advantage of you by just using you for sex 2) not even bothering to come up with a plausible guise for his agenda. It just shows that he's an arsehole and you deserve much better.
