I think you need someone closer to your age. As a psychology major, I know how the brain works for both a male and female. I can say with not a shred of doubt that a male doesn't mature until he hits at least 30 while a females matures at 25. So with that said, you are even younger than you thought when compared to her. She's already old enough to be your Mother and has so much more maturity but then you factor in the fact you're not yet 30 and you're actually 23 years apart, mentally. This makes for a very difficult foundation and doesn't work out most of the time.
If you like older women, I'd suggest dating someone 5 years older as the maximum age gap. Anything beyond that and you really will have difficulties maintaining the relationship.
Yeah, I agree. I think the maturity levels and mindset are completely different and it won't make for the easiest bond! I can't imagine why people thumbed you down as I found it to be the most logical advice on this post.
I am not against it but I'm certainly not in promotion of people dating those old enough to be their parents.
