If you've been isolated most of your life, it's a tough adjustment trying to be social because you probably grew up different. Of course, you're going to feel extremely uncomfortable at first, but the more experiences you go through, the more comfortable and confident you will become.
You have to realize that believing you're worthless isn't reality. That's just what's in your head. The reality is you're just like everybody else. Yeah, you might be a little inexperienced, but that doesn't mean you are any worse or better than anybody. You're a person just like everyone else. If you can realize this, then that's a good step in the right direction.
