I was at a friends house the other day and his 14 year old daughter came out of the shower with no cloth on.she was only wearing a smile on her face.Naturally I got horny being a guy.Is this normal.
Why didn't she have a towel?!

I would say she did it on purpose, probably to get some attention, usually what teenagers want. my god I sound aold...I'm only 19 myself. :L
I would say that as it happens to be in her own home, you have no say in it. Nudity isn't a bad or unnatural thing- your reaction is. Leave her alone. Maybe she is nude at home often!
I tend to walk around my room / bathroom naked after a shower. Something about air drying after toweling off.
As a guy a naked girl, regardless of age, will cause some type of reaction. Some it makes hard. Some it makes sick. Thinking, and hell even looking, are ok, but its the touching that will get you into trouble. Especially since its your friends daughter. If it was your own, whole different ballgame.
Why are you getting the blame for getting a boner (an involuntary action) when this cheeky young minx is flaunting her nakedness about? Little tramp!
Why were you in the bathroom while she showered?
Perhaps we're missing the real issue... the fact that you were at your friend's house IN the bathroom while he daughter was showering...?
Or was she walking around the house naked?
