Is it normal for my laptop to say 0% battery and still run? It is doing this as I am posting this.

    It depends....

    1) You're running off of AC power and the battery is shot - or the charging circuit is busted.

    2) You're running off of battery power alone and the part of your computer that monitors battery life is shot.
