25 and living at home

I'm still living with my parents. I'm 25, have a college degree and a part-time, low-level management job (the pay and benefits suck, but it's great experience).

In many ways, I feel like a loser for this, even though I'm not. I work hard and volunteer with my church. I just can't afford to live on my own right now.

My mom says your monthly rent should be equal to or less than your weekly salary. I couldn't even afford a place in the ghetto on my current pay rate, let alone bills.

Well, it could be worse, at least you're not 45 and still living at home.

Who cares about experience? Thats for when you're sixteen and wondering what the hell you're going to do with your life. Get a new job, or start earning actual credentials that will get you a better one. Make the most out of your time living at home, and plan to go somewhere else. Volunteering is great, but you need to work on your future. Good luck!

Maybe if you have a friend that you could move out with and share rent until you get a better job. If your into praying this may be something to pray for.
