Hey all I need help well advice too I'm 17 nearly 18 and I like this guy who is 27 I'm scared to tell my mother and him due to the 9 year age gap, he also plays a game called lawn bowls with my mothers fiancé. Everyone at the club talks to myself and the guy I like. The guys at the club are protective when it comes to me. The players at the club don't care about my mother and her fiancé age gap which is 10 years but I'm scared of what they think about this situation with me. Not only that I don't know what he thinks about age gaps. He is a sweet guy he wants what I want in the future which is a family

It would mean a lot to get some advice thanks

    Go for it. 9 years is nothing of a gap. And learn the difference between bowls and bowels to save potential embarrassment.

      nothing really? what about 10, 11, 12? surely at some point the age gap becomes significant enough that it is "something".

      One it's not bocce ball lawn bowels and bocce ball are two different things played on different grounds and two I don't have daddy issuse get ur facts straight and google the difference duh

    You are in two different stages of life. It is normal to feel this way but you need to consider your future as well. Are you willing to commit at a young age? What are your goals for the future? Could this relationship get in the way of these goals? It is important to think it through before pursuing a relationship, especially because of the age difference.
