The funny thing is that i was born on the snake year(Chinese zodiac)they say people who were born on the snake year would get good luck on 2014,but i guess i am the only one who is having bad luck.
Life is a series of peaks and troughs, often with periods of steady neutral terrain. You're in a trough, you'll get out of it. Just do what you can to improve your situation, but recognise the things you cannot change.

Last year was worse for me.
Got fired from my job and a lot of my friends moved away.
2014 has been pretty alright so far.

I was taking 'they' as a broad reference to people purporting to be in the know :)
They say you swallow 8 spiders a year whilst asleep!
They say you shouldn't swim straight after eating or you'll get cramp!
You know what they say... Yadda yadda yadda.
