Don't let these people fool you, sometimes the belt is the best way to go about it. If they are afraid of mom and dad they'll do what they were fucking told.

It is normal. Commonly an issue with younger children who don't get enough attention but they normally grow out of it. I think its harmless but you should probably talk to a therapist.
